JETEX is Courier service that does fast parcel delivery. It has tailored made service to the needs of business users who are strongly oriented towards their customers and end-users and want to provide them with the delivery of the desired product as soon as possible.
The problem
There is no specialized software for small currier services in Croatia, our customer used spreadsheets to manage deliveries and invoicing. JETEX has contract customers and they order delivery in random order that is not easy to track.
The problem for JETEX was tracking and grouping all deliveries and invoice them monthly.
Each deliverer has to bring the confirmation (delivery document) from the end-user to the office on the end of the workday so delivery can be added to the spreadsheet.
Goal
The goal was to automate and simplify the process of collecting all deliveries. Automate customer invoicing process and reduce the amount off errors that ware making financial gaps to Jetex.
Our solution
We have created a desktop application where delivery administrator collects all delivery documents.
Each Jetex customer has a set of numerated delivery documents and system is set to recognize automatically what customer is for that delivery by a number of the document which is printed on the delivery document with the barcode. Also the system automatically recognizes last entry for the type of delivery for that customer and in that way increases speed of the data entry. On the end of the month, invoices are automatically generated and user can print them in few clicks.
Results
300% faster data entry and 60% fewer errors in data entered to the system. Fast invoice creation with fewer errors.
